The position of the Administrator
The Administrator is not a secretary but the Administrator is a leader of leaders
and represents the office of his Excellency the High Commissioner. All Members of the Griqua Royal House must report through the office of the Administrator. The Administrator must supervise and assist Chiefs and their headman/woman within the relevant Councils.
Qualifications for holding office
All National, Provincial, Regional and Local office bearers must be
members of their communities;
They must respect the role of women and youth and ensure that at
Office of His Excellency the High Commissioner
The office of the High Commissioner represents the highest order of authority within the Commissariat.
The High Commissioner
may call meetings on short notices to address matters of an urgent nature.
The High Commissioner may cast his vote in any manner for progress as part of the collective within the Commissariat.
The Office of the
High Commissioner subscribes to gender equality.
The High Commissioner may make appointments or elect committees for special tasks or mandates conversely disband or withdraw any mandate.
Commissariat - Administration
The Administrator of the Commissariat who is also the Chief Administrative official of Cabinet is subject to a term of (5) five years
This responsibility represents the heart of the Supreme Griqua Royal House and has to ensure a process of continuation.
The Perpetuation, proficiency and sustainability resorts directly under the decree
of the Griqua Royal House.
Only retirement, ill health or reasons unbeknown, shall necessitate a change of person.
This position shall hold both as High Commissioner and Administrator.

The powers and functions of the Commissariat, Foreign Affairs and Diplomatic
Corps are described hereunder, these structures shall have all the powers required to meet its aims and objectives as well as the following;
The Commissariat will establish Diplomatic Offices in foreign countries for purposes as to handling
the Foreign Affairs Portfolio of the Griqua Royal House.
Its mandate will officially be the mouthpiece of the Griqua Royal House
It will report and liaise with the Administration which would immediately
present those reports to the Administrator of the Griqua Royal House;
Commissariat shall be appointed by the administrator.
They shall serve as the administration of the Griqua Royal House is led by the Head Commissioner who in turn shall collect among themselves who shall serve as Chief Advisors.
The administration shall conduct its mandate under the Administrator so elected from its peers to execute the day to day policy related issues and all such business so mandated by the conference.
shall ensure that the Administrator is fully briefed with regard to decreed policies and mandates emanating from the Griqua Royal House conference.
The process of agenda will be the responsibility of the Administrator of the Griqua Royal
House so mandated who must have the qualities of a provincial leadership.
The Administrator shall serve at this level as the Presiding High Commissioner of the Griqua Royal House.
The administration shall invited
the Griqua nation where and when deemed necessary to effect a position or to receive a briefing on matters or national policy and or state of play in terms of the latest political developments in Africa and at the U.N and or A.U.
NEPAD process and the parliament of the African Union are key to this position.
The Chiefs, headmen/woman respectively would thereafter receive a policy directive of which a provincial council shall in turn brief the individual Provincial
The Griqua Royal House in every province whilst it not being a political arm may consult with as many role players it may deem as necessary to reach a common objective within its province.
government policy will be reviewed by the administration hereafter the position on a matter will be communicated to the provinces which shall be the responsibility of the Administration.
The King and Kaptein shall not officiate
in any debates beyond the administration.
